From our cottages, head towards the hamlet of Les Fargayrines to reach the Dégagnazes Green Sanctuary . This approximately 2- hour round-trip hike immerses you in a verdant setting , ideal for recharging your batteries and enjoying the tranquility of the Bouriane region.

Entirely maintained by passionate volunteers, this site dedicated to the Virgin Mary offers a place for reflection and admiration of the work done to preserve it. The route also includes a small pond , an old wash house , and the Dégagnazes monastery.which invite you to immerse yourself in local heritage and history while enjoying nature.

 

Le Frau in Lavercantière – a family and nature walk

The Frau in Lavercantière is a protected natural area offering a short, easily accessible walk, ideal for families with children . Along a route of approximately 2.5 km , you will discover a heathland of heather and gorse , a true ecological reserve for local flora and fauna.

The trail is marked with 9 educational signs , allowing visitors to better understand the landscape, the ponds, and the surrounding biodiversity. For younger visitors, the mascot "the gorse grasshopper" offers a question-and-answer game , making the walk fun and educational.
