Looking for a cool place to stay to escape the heatwave ? In Pagel, everything is in place to allow you to fully enjoy your holiday, even on the hottest days.

Our cottages are located in old, characterful stone houses, built using traditional techniques. Their thick walls offer excellent natural insulation and help to maintain a pleasant coolness, even when temperatures rise.

The ground-floor cottages stay naturally cool throughout the day. They are equipped with fans to ensure optimal comfort. The upstairs cottages have portable air conditioning and fans to guarantee restful nights, even during periods of intense heat.

A swimming pool accessible at all times

After a day of exploring or relaxing, there's nothing like a dip in the pool! Good news:The Pagel swimming pool is accessible without closing times. You can therefore enjoy a morning swim, a refreshing break in the middle of the afternoon or a relaxing moment in the evening.

The large, wooded garden is also a true haven of coolness. Thanks to its many century-old trees, it offers vast shaded areas where it is pleasant to read, relax or share a meal with family.

If you're looking for the most comfortable holiday cottage during heatwaves, Wisteria is an excellent choice. Located on the ground floor, it's renowned for its natural coolness and remains exceptionally comfortable, even on the hottest days.

Good news: Wisteria still has some availability this summer. If you're planning a peaceful holiday in a charming cottage with a swimming pool, we recommend booking early.

Need to disconnect? The Pagel estate, already known as a paradise for children, is also becoming a haven of serenity for parents (and the whole family!).

For the 2026 season, we are strengthening our slow tourism offering by providing activities dedicated to relaxation and rejuvenation.

Meet our wellness experts:

• Valentine – Happy Feet: A certified instructor, she offers a journey through Yoga (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin) and even Aerial Yoga. Her sessions are designed to adapt to all body types, in a joyful and supportive atmosphere. Find her at the end of May, then every week from mid-July to the end of August.
• Fanny Bille Harmonie – Relaxation and Sound Baths, Reiki Treatments: For deep relaxation, Fanny offers energy treatments and sound relaxation sessions. A unique moment of letting go, suitable for both adults and children.
• Gaelle - Shiatsu Practitioner - offers fun parent-child workshops, with simple gestures (gentle pressure, contact games, breathing and relaxation) to slow down the pace of the holidays and reconnect with your body, your child, your family.

An event not to be missed: To gently extend summer, we are organizing an exclusive Wellness Weekend from September 18th to 20th . The perfect opportunity to discover the Lot region in its autumnal colors while taking care of yourself.

Spring Family Fun Week at Pagel – 23–30 May

Pagel Kids Club offers fun, creative sessions for children aged from 3 to 8 years old.

Activities include crafts, treasure hunts, outdoor games, and messy play, with a relaxed lunch session on Wednesdays.
Each group is limited to eight children to ensure personal attention and a safe environment.
Sessions run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with prices from 15 to 20 euros.

Early booking is recommended so every child can enjoy a happy and memorable time at Pagel.
