Right, now I’ve booked for next year I will share the Pagel secret with you! We arrived at peaceful Pagel and we were met as promised by Fiona who was really helpful and showed us round our gite. …. There were five of us – my husband and me, one set of grandparents (grandparents swapped in the second week and we were provided with a mid stay clean and linen change) and our three year old daughter. The gite had loads of space and all the bedrooms were big. There were stacks of toys in the gite as well as books, so we were glad we hadn’t dragged much in our suitcases.
I won’t talk much about the facilities as loads of other reviews have done this, but just to mention that the pool is heated to a nice temperature, the play equipment outside is brilliant as there is more or less always one bit at least in the shade. The toy barn is a great place to play and help the kids mix at any point of the day. …Loads to do on site.
The barbecue was really good – the food was lovely (four courses so not your standard burgers in buns!) and was a great social occasion for both the kids and the grown ups. Our daughter is normally quite shy around other children but by the end of the barbecue she was running around playing hide and seek with others, lovely to see!
We didn’t really make it out of the site much – we didn’t really need to as our daughter was thoroughly entertained on site. Hopefully we will see more surrounding attractions in 2020!
Pagel is perfect if you are looking for a family holiday with young children where the kids can socialise, explore and have fun – it means the adults can relax. And we did.”
Thanks so much to all of our wonderful guests and to the Vickers family, we are very excited to welcome you all back next season.
