Family & Foodie Heaven as Pagel’s Local Restaurant Wins 2nd Michelin Star

Le Gindreau restaurant

Although celebrated for keeping children happy, we at Pagel know parents need quality time together too!

We’re therefore really excited to announce that Le Gindreau, Pagel’s local restaurant, has just been awarded its SECOND Michelin star, so whilst on holiday parents can take advantage of Pagel’s baby-sitting service and enjoy a truly memorable evening out knowing that their little ones are tucked up safely in bed.

Le Gindreau, just a short drive from Pagel, is a former village school transformed into a restaurant. Head Chef and owner, Pascal Bardet (who worked for Alain Ducasse for 18 years) has a seasonal menu which showcases the produce of the local area.

The restaurant is set on the edge of a medieval village, with a large shaded terrace.

Le Gindreau was reviewed on Trip Advisor 2016: “A beautiful setting and exquisite food!”

As well as ‘fine’ dining there are also many other options for eating out as a family and the team at Pagel are always happy to recommend places and book ahead where necessary.

Pagel opens for the 2017 season on 6th May. Parents with pre-school children are able to take advantage of great deals on offer for early summer (May/June) and enjoy a truly memorable family holiday at one of the nicest times of the year in South West France.
