Think booking Pagel as a group made it so much fun as all the kids played together morning,noon and night and the adults were able to share supervision evening meals and babysitting etc. We loved the pool and the kids loved the trampoline oh yes and the dressing up box….what a brilliant idea! Thank you for making us feel so welcome .

Thank god we stayed for two weeks!!!
The friends we made on week one were gutted to be leaving on Saturday after a funfilled week of shared outings and evenings and days at Pagel. The kids all had playmates and the shared parentage meant there was always a vigil eye leaving the rest to chill. Amazing days at Pagel- in fact almost impossible to get Jack indoors from a 30 degree pool and all the fuin outdoors.

WOW What a week we have had !
Thought we would be the intrepid explorers but have actually spent most of the week on the trampoline! Oh yes –Pagel is so beautiful and peaceful and the facilities for kids are so great we rarely ventured off site more than a couple of times. Lovely place, lovely people and lucky us great weather-so the pool is a real must…. I am not sure we will drag the girls away but there will have to be bribery Im sure.

This was our 2nd visit to Pagel and its nice to know it is still as good as we remembered. This time we discovered the delights of the Dordogne and rediscovered old favourites (La Recreation for a 5 course lunch). We tell people all the time that we come here for the children but that is not entirely true!! We come because we all love it here. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

We love Pagel and each time we leave we cannot wait for our return visit. This is our fourth stay and just as wonderful and relaxing as we remember it. Each year as the boys grow older they find something new to do and explore.. Castelnaud La Chapelle is a must for any budding Knights or Princesses. We always enjoy a glass of wine in the evening with other guests! The welcome barbeque was excellent see you next time !!!!!

We booked Pagel almost a year ago and the wait has been worth it. The location is exceptional,very rural and peaceful. It is so satisfying to see the children happy and excited all day long and lovely quiet evenings sat poutside with fine food and wine for us. The barbeque was a super idea for us all to get to know like minded families. We haven’t felt the need to travel far from Pagel but we have particularly enjoyed the lake at Catus-lac Vert less than 10 minutes away-paddling in shallow waters, ice cream, lunch or beer at the cafe and a l.ovely play area, a great detour before or after the friendly bakery. Many thanks to you all for a super week.

Our third visit to Pagel and again a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable week. Arriving at Pagel the worries of the world seem to dissipate away amongst the trees and calm of the countryside.

Weve had a fantastic week (our first at Pagel). Lucky with the great weather but I think we would have had a great time in any circumstances. Pagel is set up really well for all children with great toys and activities and of course the pool which we must have been in most of the week. The local facilities have been really good too-the girls really enjoyed horse riding and the local restuatrnats were great too. All in all a great week ,thank you to everyone.!

Second stay at Pagel and enjoyed it as much as the first time. So good to be able to relax with the knowledge that the kids are in a safe environment.

Weve had a fabulous week here ! Pagel is a winning formula of stimulation for the little ones and space and relaxation for the adults!! Loved all the provision of toys - Maxs favourite was the trampoline and push along cars and both children loved the heated saltwatewr pool and Hannahs confidence in the water was much imporved by daily splashing and playing with others. A magical place-love the pirate ship and look forward to our return visit and seeing the Bishops dream of Wigwams. With fond memories and best wishes The Wisemans.

Yet again another super holiday at Pagel. Lots more wonderful memories have been made of the children and adults alike enjoying the Magic of Pagel. Lovely to see lots of familiar faces from previous years and meeting new friends too. After five years of coming to Pagel theres still lots of fun to be had. Thank you to Lara, Mark, Benjy, Charlie and Mollie. Looking forward to the Indian village next Year!!

We had a fantastic week. Pagel as last time has proved the perfect destination with our young family. The weather and great company also played their aprt to make it a special week. When asked what the best part of his holiday Charlie couldn’t give an answer because it was all so good. Maisies feet haven’t touched the ground and Lilys been beaming all week.

Having booked our holiday more than 18 months ago we have been eagerly awaiting our time here. Delighted to say it didn’t disappoint. Arriving late Saturday evening , all 3 children were wide –eyed and full of excitement. The pool area is really exceptional and Megan and George have gained even more confidence with their swimming-so safe too!
It has been a struggle to encourage them off site but we have enjoyed two day trips to the Monkeys at Rocamadour and Castlenaud-both the be recommended. As so many previous guests have said the TASTE OF FREEDOM TO ROAM THE BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS has been so refreshing for us all. Knowing all 3 children had discovered new and exciting adventures every day at Pagel has by default meant that we have had a relaxing stress free holiday.
Lovely to meet like minded families and good to have on site advice if required. Thanks for a super holiday.
September 2009 - Un-named
We have had a fantastic fortnight here at Pagel. It really has been heaven for our 2.5 year old toddler and our 10 month old has also had lots of fun. Facilities are excellent and the sandpit has been a hit. Fancy dress and crafts areas have been great entertainment too.
Had a fantastic meal at La Recreation –well worth it and the Monkey Park was popular. We will be back, Many thanks.
