True Pagelians

A sense of excitment…

Pagel has been running now since 2002 and we now have guests who are now true Pagelians!

I asked once “Is it ok coming back to the same place year after year?” and the reply was absolute, “Oh yes, we do because it means we can relax as soon as we get to the airport, as we know that you have everything we need, we know what to expect, the children remember and are excited and cannot wait to revisit the pirate ship or see their room again, with the beautiful murals and all the toys. What else could we want, a holiday for us with children is to be able to relax and coming back to Pagel this is guaranteed”.

Pagel is a small informal and familial place centred entirely around and only for families with children. Set in rural France and nestled on a hillside with beautiful views it is a place to relax and have fun. The atmosphere is warm and it is a very tranquil location, stunning in its link with nature and natural beauty which lends itself to allow children to play in a open, safe and natural environment and go back to imaginative play, encouraged with the play zones around the land from the play barn, to pirate ship to Indian village to fort, to sand pit and picnic orchard.

Childhood memories are so special and to this end we have created a Pebble Memory garden where children can paint on pebbles and tones with their names and pictures and leave them in the garden so when and if they return they know that they are part of Pagel, a brilliant suggestion from a visiting Mum.
