Glamping – the art of glamorous camping - is a new growth area in the family holiday market. With the emphasis firmly on quality and comfort, it has attracted those who want to reconnect with the environment while holidaying in style.
Tented holiday lodges provide attractive, spacious, eco-friendly accommodation that is perfectly suited to this market. With all the comfort of a permanent structure – proper furniture and facilities, a solid floor, they preserve the romance and atmosphere of a tent. Based around the idea of African safari tents the holiday lodges are built using a combination of traditional canvas and more modern fabrics to create the African experience nearer to home.
Pagel’s ‘Glamping in France’ experience offers a fun, adventurous and authentic way to reconnect with nature without compromise; featuring spacious and comfortable interiors with all home comforts and all of the normal baby, toddler and child facilities and toys you have come to expect from Pagel. At night when you look up you see a sky full of stars and realise, at that moment, you are looking at the Milky Way. That is why the evenings at Pagel in our Moomba Lodge are so special.
The high-end facilities include everything from a complete furnished kitchen to delicious comfortable beds, and from high chairs to your own bathroom just outside the lodge (under cover and in a beach hut wooden structure). The Moomba Lodge is themed for the children – Name Moomba is Sanskrit for for young lioness. The “Moomba Lodge” is constructed on a wooden platform of 72 m2 and a living area from 40 m2.
