Goldilicks Cottage

In Keeping with our ethos of Imaginative play and Natural childhood fun we are planning to release for Season 2010 “Goldilocks and The Three Bears Cottage” as an additional gite on site at Pagel.

To be set up in the Little Orchard area of Pagel with a view down the gardens to the West and the valley beyond. The new cabin on site themed to Goldilocks and the three bears will have life sized bears outside the cabin hand carved in wood in Indonesia, along with toadstools and furniture made to look like it has been sliced from a tree.Chairs will have Mummy, Daddy and Baby bear carved into their high wooden backs and there will be a strong bear theme throughout.

The bathroom sink is set in a teak root from Indonesia. The cabin will have a double and a twin bedroom with room for a cot and a large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area as in the other gites. There will be a front terrace accessed from the lounge with a view down the garden over the pool to the gites and the wonderful valley beyond.

Planning has been submitted and tweaked and we are just waiting for paper confirmation which we hope to get by mid-end Feb 2010.We are currently takings provisional bookings from families for preferred weeks and these will be confirmed in February.

Indian Village

A brand new Indian Village in the lower field complete with Wigwams and Totem Pole.

The family sized Wigwam will allow parents to camp out for one night under the stars with their children and we will supply the sleeping bags.

New tiled floors for the lower gites.
New Bathrooms for the upper gites - to include a bath.
New dining tables for all gites.
New paint decor for all gites to link in with new website colours.
Some new lighting.
