of the kids making friends, between the play barn and pool the fun never ends, and then there’s the ship, the tramp’line, table tennis,
We try to keep the dads off they are quite a menace.
The boy’s new bedroom in winegrowers gite, an aladdins cave, new toys at their feet.
Gorgeous fresh bread and too much cheese, we enjoy the local fayre with ease.
Morning pastries an absolute must, at 9am you won’t see me for dust…
Down to catus boulangerie,
croissant, baguette, pain aux raisin for me
The best place to sample - the market’s a treat, an array of fresh fruit and plenty of meat,
the local’s wine tasting, rotisserie basting, it just can’t be beat.
We have a good moan re unseasonal rain, at last the sun breaks to ease our
pain!
We see Pagel in a different light, the evening sun on the valley is really a site,
night time wildlife serenade,
Another holiday memory made.
The welcome bar b, and chef for the night both enjoyed and try as we might…
To just say ’no’ we’ve had quite enough’, we carried on munching gosh life is tough!
We visit the local town’s nearby
I’m sure our favourite is saint cirq lapopie
and when you think you can’t do anymore…..
there’s the monkeys and train at Rocamadour.
Our favourite lunch is at the famous La Rec, a table in the garden’s a magical spec.
Tomorrow’s our last day I’m sorry it’s here there’ll be two sad boys on the plane I fear.

]]> Busy Lizzie The Fieldings Mon, 30 May 2011 07:20:14 +0000 Our 17 month old daughter Elizabeth has not stopped for the last week! Playing with new friends, splashing in the pool, swinging, climbing and laughing all day long. Best of all though all of that fresh air and fun has meant four full nights sleep for the first time in nearly a year! And whilst our baby was enjoying the Pagel way of life we were too….wonderful fresh produce from the local markets, wine, walks and exploring the area. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful time

We are here to enjoy the quiet of the Winter in the Lot and the stunning winter landscape and continue with work on the refurbishment of the Winegrowers house and the creation of the new Wisteria apartment and it is looking fantastic………….

]]> Renovation started Mark Bishop Thu, 16 Dec 2010 19:09:01 +0000 In December having packed away all the toys for the children ,toddlers and babies and having closed the children’s pool for the winter Bish has ripped out the old interior of the apartment below Winegrowers House to create Wisteria Apartment for 2011.A new tiled floorhas been laid and in January Bish will install a new bathroom and kitchen before starting work on the refurbishment of The Winegrowers house

Wisteria will compliment all the other gites in providing a special place for families to holiday at Pagel .

When you have children, it really becomes difficult to have a holiday and switch off, but at Pagel that is exactly what you can do, its perfect, nothing is left out, Mark and Lara have thought of everything, and the location is just perfect. This was the easiest holiday ever with our children - 4 and 2. Everything is provided - even pushchairs. Absolutely stunning location, very easy process booking, even had a phone call the week before we left the UK to ask if there were any special requirements for our week. I have 2 complaints. Firstly one week wasn’t enough! Secondly, it’s becoming too popular - stop telling people about it! But seriously, you won’t be disappointed. more

]]> News From 2010 Lara Tue, 16 Nov 2010 21:41:14 +0000 What a Fantastic 2010 and whats new for 20112010 saw the exciting launch of Goldilocks Cabin ,a new hideaway in the wooded copse at the East end of the gardens.Life size wooden bears ,chairs engraved with mummy,Daddy and Baby bear and a terrace with a stunning view over the whole of Pagel.
New additions to some of the gites were chandeliars ,leather sofas,new bathrooms,new beds and high quality mattresses,new Indian Village and new dining tables.
A new terrace out of the front of the playbarn allowed for hours of tractor and car driving for the little ones and our weekly Welcome barbecues were a huge success.
For 2011 all gites will have new heating,new updated kitchen equipment and some new toys.
A new Little Tike boat sandpit down near the pool area and under the abri at the pool will be a new comfy outdoor sofa.
The Winegrowers house will be refurbished creating a new Chesnut floor and new kitchen in a huge open plan refurbished first floor.

But mummy, we can get a big big round spaceship and get in in and go zoom zoom from our small earth to the bigger earth there and get there at our breakfast time and play on the pirate ship and then.. (pause for thought)… eat daddy’s biscuits.
