Lin Whitehead’s Review of Pagel

Lin Whitehead recently submitted the following review to us:
“Someone in work today rather belatedly asked me how my holiday in France had been; marveilleux - in a word! It got me reminiscing about the great week my husband and I had had this year in Pagel with our 2 boys 3 and 5. We’ve [...]

“childfriendly.co.uk” Review

Pagel was literally home-from-home with every possible baby necessity in-site. Mark and Lara, the owners of Pagel had three kids themselves, aged between 5 and 15 years-of-age, and they knew exactly how hard it was to travel with tots.

Busy Lizzie

Our 17 month old daughter Elizabeth has not stopped for the last week! Playing with new friends, splashing in the pool, swinging, climbing and laughing all day long. Best of all though all of that fresh air and fun has meant four full nights sleep for the first time in nearly a year! And whilst our baby was enjoying the Pagel way of life we were too….wonderful fresh produce from the local markets, wine, walks and exploring the area. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful time.

Play and Pleasure at Pagel by by Charlotte Watts, GMTV Nutritionist

Our holiday at Pagel became a source of stress-relief from the baggage of modern parenting months before we left for the airport. An email listing all the things we wouldn’t need to pack (monitor, sleeping bag, plastic cutlery, books, toys et al) immediately lightened the suitcase list and the anticipation of travel stress. We were also reassured with several thorough and informative emails; all felt more manageable, highly important for parents taking their first holiday abroad with 14 month old Maisie. This was clearly a destination designed around creating the best time for children by also supporting the parents as much as possible.

Zoom, Zoom, Zoom…

I showed my son the interactive map today and he’s been asking if we can get on a plane and go in the morning, after explaining that we couldn’t he suggested this…

The Setting Sun…

The sun sets while stories are read
As little ones are readied for bed
Tired ones, from swimming and racing the jeep
Now at last it is time to sleep

Mums and dads open a Pagel rouge
Look at excursions and which one to choose
Pagelians all , they gather to the barn
To laugh and relax and share a good yarn

Oh no its hard to depart here…

Oh No ! It’s Hard to depart here, it’s so perfect in every way..
Well have to be content with our photos, to remind us of our holiday
To have known Pagel is to have loved it, it’s a children’s toy heaven and dream
The delicious food that is local and the breathtaking landscape we’ve seen.

We just couldn’t stay away…

We said goodbye to Pagel for the third and so we thought final time in September this year after 3 wonderful holidays over the last three years.
