Lower Sunset is the smaller of the two ground floor gites in the grange, however it is firm favourite with returning families.

Upper Wildwood is the first floor gite at the East end of the grange building with a wonderful view up the garden to the pool and play orchard.

I have to recommend this place in the Lot region of France - very pretty. It was amazing, we loved it! Lizzie had a wonderful room full of toys, then dressing up boxes, outdoor play barns, pirate ships, sandpit, pools, a meadow, tepees, more swings and slides than you can throw a stick at and much more!! All in a wonderful, safe, rural setting.

Our 17 month old daughter Elizabeth has not stopped for the last week! Playing with new friends, splashing in the pool, swinging, climbing and laughing all day long. Best of all though all of that fresh air and fun has meant four full nights sleep for the first time in nearly a year! And whilst our baby was enjoying the Pagel way of life we were too….wonderful fresh produce from the local markets, wine, walks and exploring the area. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful time.

On discovering that I was pregnant back in July 2002, I realised that, for my husband and I, our days of long haul holidays were over for the time being. As a first time expectant mother, I had a very naive belief that our lives would largely continue as before, with perhaps a few minor changes. The birth of baby Barnaby in March this year shattered my romantic illusions. Now life was so unpredictable, surely a holiday abroad was out of the question?

We’ve just had a really relaxing and peaceful holiday, something I didn’t think was possible with a 20 month old (Freya) to entertain who is constantly on the go. The three of us spent a week in the Lot Valley at a Gite called Pagel in the South of France.
