Upper Sunset

A stunning light bright gite with a terrace facing west down the valley with amazing views and wonderful sunets.
This gite has all day sun and thick stone walls to keep cool inside. The terrace is fenced and gated and the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area inside has a 15 foot ceiling apexed into [...]

Goldilocks Cabin

A special fairy-tale hideaway themed on Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
The cabin is set on legs a the front so for the little ones it looks like a tree house with three life size hand carved wooden Bears in front of the terrace which has steps leading down into the Pagel land and gardens.
The Goldilocks [...]

Lower Sunset

Lower Sunset is the smaller of the two ground floor gites in the grange, however it is firm favourite with returning families.
It’s a favourite with parents as the terrace is directly opposite the open sided indoor play barn on the other side of the courtyard, so you can have a cup of coffee or a [...]

Upper Wildwood

Upper Wildwood is the first floor gite at the East end of the grange building with a wonderful view up the garden to the pool and play orchard.

Guest poem

We ask all of our guest to complete a questionnaire at the end of their stay. We recently found this charming poem, written on the back of one of our questionnaires:
Tom and James both loved the pirate ship
The play barn and the toys
Mum and Dad could sit back and relax
With so much to entertain the [...]

We recently received this lovely email from our guest Sukeallia Blount:
“Thank you for a wonderful week during half term. Isobelle had so much fun, her favourite part of the week was the pottery! (And I think mine too).
Once again, massive thanks. You have a truly relaxing and such a fun place to stay!
Regards
Suke”

Lin Whitehead’s Review of Pagel

Lin Whitehead recently submitted the following review to us:
“Someone in work today rather belatedly asked me how my holiday in France had been; marveilleux - in a word! It got me reminiscing about the great week my husband and I had had this year in Pagel with our 2 boys 3 and 5. We’ve [...]

“childfriendly.co.uk” Review

Pagel was literally home-from-home with every possible baby necessity in-site. Mark and Lara, the owners of Pagel had three kids themselves, aged between 5 and 15 years-of-age, and they knew exactly how hard it was to travel with tots.

“Recommended Family Holidays” Review

I have to recommend this place in the Lot region of France - very pretty. It was amazing, we loved it! Lizzie had a wonderful room full of toys, then dressing up boxes, outdoor play barns, pirate ships, sandpit, pools, a meadow, tepees, more swings and slides than you can throw a stick at and much more!! All in a wonderful, safe, rural setting.
